It was a quite week in cedar where nobody had complaints or kudos. Inquiry was under average. Most orders were for small lots. No one wanted anything big. The best sellers were timbers and decking, post and rail. A bit of siding sold to close up the jobs for winter. Raw products for fencing sold well to remanufacturers as a finishing touch on those projects. Mixed product sales kept everything moving， however sluggishly. 

   Even in cedar, customers counted down the calendar until the end of the year. Cedar mills are finally well supplied with the logs that had been long awaited. However, some forest areas are now closed to logging dye to fire danger. If the fires came late, snows will seem early. In the high mountains, rains can begin in September, followed by snow again in October. Not much of a summer was it?
